Room for Hope: Our Future Haiti Office
Every day in Haiti, mothers face childbirth without safe spaces or essential supplies. MHI has been there to fill this gap, and now we have the chance to create a permanent home for this work.
A generous community member who believes deeply in our mission has offered us the use of an unfinished building. Right now, it is concrete and dust. But with your help, it will become a sanctuary for mothers, a hub for education, and a storehouse of dignity for our Postpartum Hygiene Kits.

Looking ahead, this building will also allow us to expand our vision. In 2026, we plan to launch an Education Program for local teenage mothers, providing them with knowledge, support, and a brighter future. We also want to move pad production to Haiti, which will allow for sustainability and job creation for local women.
But first, we need your help. To transform this unfinished space into a usable and beautiful home for our work, we need to raise $20,000 to complete the construction and install electricity. Our goal is to complete this fundraising effort by the end of the year, so we can begin the new year ready to serve mothers in a dedicated and welcoming space.
We are breaking this project into three phases:
-
Phase One: Windows and Walls – $6,000
-
Phase Two: Floor and Bathroom – $6,000
-
Phase Three: Electrical – $8,000
Together, we can turn concrete and open space into a safe and welcoming center for mothers and babies.
